The Hyacinth macaw has a large, black beak and royal blue feathers with yellow skin around the eye and cheek. they are known as gentle giants as they are very gentle and affectionate despite thier intimidatingly huge beak. They are the largest parrot on the planet in terms if length (the flightless kakapoo of new zealand is heavier) and they live in south america. they have some very close relatives like the smaller lears macaw.
